Phillip Cheng is a Creative Video Director with ties to New York, Shanghai, and Barcelona.

An expert in film, advertising, and digital video content, he has produced for brands like John Frieda, The New York Times, and Dos Equis, as well as crafted music videos for the American Ballet Theater and Carousel on Broadway. In 2018, he joined Condé Nast to develop video for GQ, Glamour, Vanity Fair, WIRED, and Vogue and later oversaw video production for culinary brands Bon Appétit and Epicurious.

His latest work with Condé Nast Traveler and Architectural Digest highlights the intersection of food, sustainability, and tourism in partnership with Michelin Green Star chefs and vineyards.

Phillip has conducted interviews with AAPI authors and filmmakers such as Pulitzer award winning Hua Hsu, Randall Park, Lulu Wang, and Oscar-winning producer Jonathan Wang from Everything Everywhere All at Once.

In his free time you’ll find him and his partner hosting dinner parties in Brooklyn or visiting coastal Spain.
